- Clients' data
The client provides the list of designated products, prepared in a correct format, for comparison via Excel or XML files. The prices and availability extracted from the client's website or the feed/XML file and transferred directly to the dashboard after daily scanning. The data can be updated, imported, deleted, or exported from or to the Dashboard easily by one of the mentioned method.
Vendors MAP prices are taken from the Excel file provided by the vendor respectfully. We recommend to adopt a Google spreadsheet to have new products uploaded, obsolete products deleted, and new prices updated automatically on a daily basis :)
- Competitors' Data
Competitors' prices, availability, promo pr markdowns are taken directly from the competitors' websites, after daily scanning. Competera only works with the online retail businesses which make it possible to crawl the data directly from online stores.
After the process of product match on the competitors' websites completed, pre-programmed crawler/spider starts gathering information over the found links and transfer the data (prices, availability, promo or markdowns) into the Competera user Dashboard.
