- Clients' data
The client provides the list of designated products, prepared in a correct format, for comparison via Excel or XML files. The prices and availability are coming from the website or the feed/XML file directly to the dashboard. Te data can be updated, imported, deleted, or exported from or to the Dashboard.
Vendors MAP prices are coming from the Excel file provided by the vendor respectfully. We recommend to adopt Google spreadsheets to have new products uploaded, obsolete products deleted, and new prices updated automatically on a daily basis :)
- Competitors' Data
Competitors' prices, availability, promo activities are taken directly from the competitors' websites. Competera only works with the online retail businesses which make possible to crawl the data directly on-line.
After the process of matchings/linking your products with the competitors' products, pre-programed crawler program starts gathering information over the related items and transfer the data into the Dashboard.
