In the previous material we described types of data feeds. Now you are aware of what does it mean to provide a feed with your data to integrate with Competera solution.
No matter what type of feed you would like to use for integration, mandatory fields are, plus you can store there any custom data that might be fetched by Competera at any time, for example:
mandatory fields |
custom fields |

|
Just name them this logic and inform Competera support that you would like to see these custom fields in the dashboard.
In order to have the data automatically update from the feed, we will need a dynamic link of any type. Your tech specialist should possess the knowledge of xml structured files.
Competera tech team will apply special import commands to take the data from the feed and transfer to special locations in the dashboard.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After we apply the feed for automatic update, all changes will be implicated in the dashboard the same time we send a request to update the data from the feed.
- The data from the feed could be updated several times a day with 2 hours interval.
- We could apply a rule to update the data from the feed for specific day or time or both.
- If you refer the actual price data to be updated from the feed, we can do that.
- Product list are updated from the feed.
- Product categories are updated from the feed.
- Product availability is updated from the feed.
- Categories structure and hierarchy are updated from the feed as well.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mandatory fields can be filtered, but custom fields not.
Collected data from all fields can be used in repricing, creating analytical models or exported into excel file.
