In this release (~2 min read):
- Filters on Dashboard
- Competera Price Protection
- Alerts for data collection errors
This time Competera introduces simple but exciting improvements to provide our clients with relevant analytics about the current situation on the market.
Filters on Dashboard
Now you can check what is happening with the products you sell within a specific assortment scope defined by a set of criteria — such as category, tag, brand, and competitor — or at least one of them.
Use this instrument to detect abnormal situations on the market and prevent decreasing sales instead of checking only general information about all the products you have in monitoring. Enter your Dashboard, or navigate to Analytics — Overview from any other section to try it.
If at least one parameter is selected, all information in the overview except for Featured product reports refreshes to display the current market situation in this scope.
Competera Price Protection
In addition to the previous feature, we aimed to further help to protect your profit: if you sell any items cheaper than they cost or much cheaper than your competitors — we will be the first to let you know.
- Prices are 100% below min competitor
The price of at least one product in your assortment is lower than the minimum competitor price by 2 times or more. You can also dive deeper into the product level by either downloading a report or opening the product list directly from a card. - Prices are lower than cost
The price of at least one product in your assortment equals or is lower than its cost.
Please note that actual cost data is required to use this feature. If you would like to add it, do not hesitate to contact us — we are glad to help.
The price protection block appears only if your product list contains items fitting these conditions.
Alerts for data collection errors
We also made the data delivery process more transparent for our clients. If for some reason there ever occurs a data collection error, it will be highlighted not only on the competitor but also on the product level. Our team believes this approach will prove convenient for you to choose whether you should make decisions basing on such data, instead of interpreting it on our side.
We are looking forward to your feedback and value every opinion clients share with our team. What do you think about this release? Let us know in the comment section below! 👇
